Are you ready to see some orange cat behavior on the big screen?
Garfield is making his animated return to movie theaters later this month in The Garfield Movie, which is looking to be a treat for everyone from Gen X to Gen Alpha.
The latest chapter in a franchise that dates back to Jim Davis' iconic comic strip from the 1970s finds the lazy, lasagna-loving feline (voiced by Chris Pratt) reunited with his estranged father: a street cat named Vic (Samuel L. Jackson). Shenanigans ensue as Garfield—along with his lovable canine crony Odie—is removed from the comforts of indoor shelter and set out on an adventurous, high-stakes heist.

The film should be as enjoyable for the little homies as it is nostalgic for the OGs. Other voice stars include Janelle James (Abbott Elementary) as well as Ving Rhames and Snoop Dogg in the Baby Boy reunion you didn't know you needed. Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars (a.k.a. Silk Sonic) even get some burn here, as their song "Fly As Me" is included in the soundtrack.
