Usher has finally addressed the booty-shaped elephant in the room a month after internet tongue wagged about a celebrity appearance at one of his Las Vegas shows.
In case you forgot (a month in internet time is like three years), Nope actress Keke Palmer attended an Usher show, which sounds like a good time, except that her boyfriend Darius Jackson apparently did not approve of her going-out attire.
Jackson was subsequently dragged for saying her see-through clothing was not appropriate for a mom, after which, he got even more upset, saying, "We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is."

Well, Usher apparently is not about stoking the fires. He's finally opened up about the night that spawned a huge controversy (and helped trend the "Tom, Sarah and Usher" episode of The Boondocks) in an interview with People.
Says Usher: "I think everybody's vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas. And that's what I hope came out of it. Every night I'm thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I'll have with whoever I'm choosing to sing to. But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light. I don't see anything negative happening in Las Vegas."

Usher has been making his rounds lately. He's got a new single with 21 Savage and Summer Walker called "Good Good." And he recently graced the digital cover of Vibe, speaking with the publication about his Vegas residency, balancing his career and his family life, and the importance of health and self care for men.
No word yet on whether Jackson will have another fit in response to Usher's response, but it seems very likely!
